Feeding a whole family from one menu is a diplomatic mission. Somebody wants pizza, somebody is eating healthy this week, the kids want what they always want, and one person just wants breakfast at 6pm. Good news: we built this menu for exactly that chaos.
Start with a shareable. The California Sampler or a basket of onion rings buys you peace while everyone decides. Nobody argues while there are mozzarella sticks on the table.
Cover the kids first. The kids menu runs from Kids Pizza and Kids Burgers to the Fun with Farfalle pasta and breakfast combos, because kid logic does not respect mealtimes and neither do we.
Split the adults by mood. Comfort seekers head for the pastas, Chef's Favorite, Bolognese, Fettucine Alfredo. The healthy-ish contingent lands on salads like the Grilled Salmon Salad or the Broiled Salmon Fillet with two sides. Big appetites go burgers, ribs, or the Prime Steak. And yes, breakfast is served all day, so the 6pm omelette person is fully legitimate here.
Add one large pizza as insurance. A large pepperoni or BBQ Chicken quietly feeds the gaps and guarantees leftovers, which is really breakfast planning.
Dessert is not optional. A Hot Fudge Sundae with extra spoons ends every family dinner on a win.
Dine in works beautifully, but this whole strategy travels: order pickup or delivery from the full menu and run family dinner from your own couch. Either way, one kitchen covers everybody, which has been the whole idea at California Grill since 1996.
