California Grill, 6751 Painter Ave in Whittier, CA, is your go-to spot for great American food. We open daily at 7AM, making us your go-to for breakfast, lunch, and dinner in one easy stop. Our space is casual, welcoming, and made for everyone. This is home, whether you're settling in for dine-in comfort or relaxing outside on our patio.
Family owned and operated since 1996, California Grill has spent nearly 30 years serving Whittier. Everything is made fresh from scratch in our own kitchen, the same way it was on day one. We believe every member of our team is integral to our success, and that shows in the family atmosphere you feel the moment you walk in.
More Than a Restaurant
California Grill seats 230 between the dining room, the bar and the patio. We have a full bar, big screens for UFC, boxing, NBA and NFL, live bands, trivia and weekly events, and happy hour Sunday through Thursday. We host private parties for 80 to 100 on the patio, cater across LA County and Orange County through California Grill Catering, and run fundraiser nights for Whittier schools and nonprofits.
Part of Whittier
We have been part of the Whittier Christmas Parade for 30 years and host the parade VIP breakfast every year. We support the Boys & Girls Club, the Lions Club, the Whittier Chamber's Silver Shield Awards and local schools and teams.
