Breakfast All Day: Why We Open at 8am Every Morning

Some restaurants treat breakfast like a warm-up act. We treat it like the main event, which is why the doors at 6751 Painter Ave open at 8am every single day and the griddle is already hot when they do.

Whittier's early risers built this place. The regulars who show up before work, the retirees who claim the same booth, the families rolling in on Saturday mornings, they are the reason breakfast never left our identity even as the menu grew into lunch, dinner, and a full bar.

The breakfast lineup runs deep. Omelettes from the classic Denver to our California with spinach, feta, and tomato. Pancakes in apple cinnamon, banana nut, and blueberry. French toast, waffles, and the Chicken and Waffles that turns first-timers into regulars. Skillets, breakfast burritos, and the Joe's San Francisco Special for anyone who likes their eggs scrambled with real substance. And because this is California Grill, every combo comes with your choice of home fries, hash browns, or fresh fruit.

The best part: breakfast does not have a curfew here. Our kitchen serves it all day, so the noon riser gets the same fluffy omelette as the 8am crowd. One kitchen, open all day, no judgment about when your morning starts.

Pair it with fresh squeezed OJ, a smoothie, or a cup of our 100% Arabica coffee, and if it is a weekend, the mimosa flights exist for a reason.

Come find your morning booth, or order breakfast to go from the full menu. Either way, we will see you at 8.
