Catering Delivered From Our Whittier Kitchen
California Grill has been family-owned in Whittier since 1996. Corporate catering comes out of the same kitchen that serves our dining room every day, which is the whole reason it tastes like a restaurant instead of a catering company.
Delivery minimum is $250. Pickup at 6751 Painter Ave has no minimum, which matters for smaller teams.

The Rotation Problem
If you cater the same team twice a month, the fastest way to lose the room is serving the same sandwich platter every time. We build recurring accounts on a rotation so people stay interested.
A typical month might run boxed sandwiches, then burrito boxes, then a pasta and salad spread, then a taco bar. Same budget, four different meals, nobody groaning when the boxes show up.
Boxed vs Shared
Individually boxed is the right call when people grab and go, when the meeting has a hard start, or when you don't want a serving line eating fifteen minutes of the agenda.
Shared trays are better when people linger, when the group is over about thirty, or when you want the table to look like an event rather than a working lunch. Full pasta trays run $185, salad trays $50 to $70, and platters $55.
Client-Facing Meetings
When the food is part of the impression, boxes undersell you. Gourmet Cheese Platter at $55, Caprese Mozzarella at $33, Bruschetta at $25, Spanakopitas at $32, and grilled skewers from $30 to $43 build a table that reads as considered.
Standing Orders
If you cater on a schedule, weekly team lunch, monthly all-hands, recurring training sessions, call us and we'll set it up so you're not rebuilding the order every time. Standing orders also mean our kitchen plans around you instead of reacting.
Short-Notice Orders

Dietary Needs
Vegetarian options exist in every category, including the Vegetarian Burrito Box, Grilled Veggie Skewers, Hummus, Spanakopitas, Caprese Mozzarella and all four salad trays. Tell us your headcount and restrictions and we'll build around them rather than leaving someone with a side salad.

What is the delivery minimum?

How far ahead do we need to order?
Depends on size and menu. Boxed lunches, salads and pasta are daily production for us and often move fast. Full-service events need more lead time.
Do you set up and serve?
For full-service events, yes. Standard corporate orders are drop-off.
Can you handle a 200-person all-hands?
Yes. We cater 10 to 300 or more. Anything over 75 gets a custom menu and a quote.
