Pasta night is sacred, and our pasta menu takes it seriously. Here is the tour, from the legend to the sleeper hits.
The legend: Chef's Favorite Pasta. Blackened chicken, bowtie pasta, garlic, basil, and parmesan in a light tomato cream sauce. It is the most recommended dish in the building and the answer to "what should I get" since long before this blog existed.
The comfort classics. Bolognese simmered the slow, old-world way. Fettucine Alfredo kept light instead of gluey. Chicken Marsala Pasta with that mushroom wine sauce our regulars refuse to let us touch. Pasta Florentine when you want cream sauce and your greens in the same bowl.
The bold ones. The Tequila Jalapeno brings lime, heat, and a little swagger. The Jambalaya piles shrimp, chicken, and spicy sausage into one New Orleans style bowl. And the Fiery Pasta, with serranos and crushed red pepper, is for people who order hot and mean it.
From the sea. Shrimp Scampi over angel hair, Salmon Pasta in tomato cream, and the Seafood Pasta with calamari, shrimp, and salmon for those who refuse to choose.
For everyone at the table. The Mediterranean Pasta and Angel Hair keep vegetarians happy, and the build-your-own Gluten Free Pasta means nobody sits out pasta night.
Round it out with a house salad and garlic cheese Italian bread, and dinner writes itself. Most of these also come as catering trays when pasta night scales up to party size.
